Looking back at the Florida Regional Seminar

by G. Grant Dixon III

The Florida Regional for Trial Lawyers College was outstanding. We got a chance to learn how to “discover the story” of our clients and their cases while learning a little more about ourselves. We were able to learn the techniques taught at TLC, see them in action and put them into practice. Whether it was psychodrama, role playing or just mirroring, all the techniques were brought together to help show us the real stories of our real cases. It was well worth the trip.

Coming to a TLC regional is great. No boring war stories by lawyers with easy multi-million-dollar cases.  The work at TLC is done by real lawyers with real cases. I learned practical techniques to use in my cases tomorrow; no tricks, just real solutions. Each time I come to a TLC event, I walk away inspired. It's great spending time with other lawyers who have similar experiences and who are willing to help.
